Being able to carry out practical everyday tasks, such as cooking, washing, shopping, and money management, is really important when it comes to helping people with a disability gain independence. It can also encourage them to challenge themselves, building confidence.
Your down-to-earth support worker will work with you or your loved one to determine where help is needed most – and what fits with your NDIS funding. We teach most skills at home so participants feel safe and comfortable. And we always bring a positive, patient attitude!
